Plainview Main Street / CVB Board Meeting Minutes
June 1, 2009
Present: Nicki Logan, Anthony Brocato, Vernah Sprous, Beverly Wall, Mark Stoub and
Dee Blevins
Staff Present: Eric Turner and Sarah Castillo
Co -Chairman Nick Logan called meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Minutes for the May 2009 meeting were approved 4-0
Nicki Logan gave a brief update on the CVB Committee meeting. The committee
approved the HOT grant application for the Plainview Lions Club District Meeting for
$750.00.
Eric reported on the Juneteenth and Rodeo Parades along with the Red, White & Moo
event. Eric asked if there was anyone who could volunteer for any of those events, none
came forward.
Dee Blevins with the Chamber of Commerce gave a report on the scheduled 4th of July
Fireworks show.
Eric gave a brief description on the Texas Plains Trails Round Up event scheduled for
August 11, 2009 at the Civic Center.
Meeting adjourned 4:34pm
