Paul made the motion to accept their application/Grant of $750 and Janice seconded the motion. Motion passed. Committee chairperson, Beverly gave her report of the Main Street Open House - a good turnout, good food, good information on the Main Street Program and introductions of the Board Members. A brief discussion followed about the possibility of repeating same type of event each year. The Economic Restructuring Committee gave a Task Force Update on the town meeting held at Grumpy's. Phil directed the meeting. He encouraged everyone to continue promoting the survey of public opinion and to reinforce that Main Street does not have an opinion until the survey is completed. A general consensus felt that because of the relatively poor turnout for both meetings there does not need more attention given other than the voting to be completed by concerned citizens. Andrew reported to Melinda that on survey monkey 830 had participated in the survey. Committee Recruitment will be before August. Promotions Committee reported on the Parade held on July 3 rd. Paul commended Melinda for her good job organizing the Parade. It was a big success with many entries and many people in attendance.
