UNGER MEMORIAL LIBRARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
October 9, 1978
The regular meeting of the Unger Memorial Llbrary Advisory Com-
mittee was called to order by Mrs. Merwyn Igo, President, at
7:05 P.M., Monday, October 9, 1978, in the Librarian's Office.
Present were Ruby Curry, Susan LaFont, Malcolm Tisdel, and Judy
Smith, Librarian.
The minutes fo the September 11, 1978, meeting were approved as
presented. Also presented were the Librarian's Report for Sep-
tember, the annual additions report, and the annual film reports.
Miss Smith reported on the feasibility of filing claims in Small
Claims Court against patrons with long over -due materials. There
would be a $7.00 filing fee for each claim filed. Mr. Tisdel
moved and Mrs. Curry seconded that the letter drafted to the City
Council in September be approved as corrected and forwarded to
the City Council for their action. Motion passed.
Miss Smith announced that District 9 of the Texas Library Asso-
ciation will meet Saturday, October 14, 1978, in Levelland. Mrs.
Igo will present the main address.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
