RESOLUTION R15-347
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, CASTING VOTES FOR THE HALE COUNTY
APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6.03 of the Texas Property Tax Code, the
Chief Appraiser of the Hale County Appraisal District has prepared a ballot, listing
the candidates for election to the Hale County Appraisal District Board of Directors,
and has delivered a copy of the ballot to the presiding officer of the City of Plainview
that is entitled to vote, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview desires to determine
and declare its vote by resolution and submit it to the Chief Appraiser before
December 15, 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plainview that the ballot form, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein, as marked, be marked with the District's votes as shown on said ballot.
Be it hereby known that on the 10th day of November, 2015, the City of
Plainview resolved to cast the taxing unit's 1,576 votes for:
Bobby McGehee 1,576 votes
as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hale County Appraisal District. This
vote will be hereby communicated to the proper authorities for counting in the
election for said position.
PASSED AND APPROVED on the g' - day of November, 2015.

CERTIFICATE
I, the undersigned, the Mayor of the City of Plainview, do hereby certify that
on the 10th day of November, 2015, at a duly and legally noticed and regular
meeting of the City Council of said district, there was a quorum present, and at the
meeting, the foregoing resolution was adopted by vote of a majority of the Council,
there being a quorum of the Council present at said meeting; and I further certify
that the same has not been amended, rescinded, or repealed and that the same
is in full force and effect, to certify which witness my hand and seal of office this
10th day of November, 2015.
