A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS CREATING THE MAIN STREET COORDINATING BOARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview desires to revitalize the
downtown/neighborhood business district in the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the best interests of the City of Plainview to
create the Main Street Coordinating Board; and
WHEREAS, on December 14, 2004 the City Council considered and took
necessary action to establish the Main Street Coordinating Board and approved the By-
Laws to create that board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas, has determined that there is a need for a Main Street Coordinating
Board in the City of Plainview to stimulate revitalization in the downtown/neighborhood
business district through organization, promotion, design and to provide general
oversight and guidance for the Main Street Program and adopts the Main Street
Coordinating Board By-Laws.
