HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-3277BUDGET AMENDMENT (Plainview/Hale County Health Department Hardware and Software Purchase) ORDINANCE NO. 01-3277 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 00-3267 TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS IN THE 2000-2001 BUDGET FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE; CUMULATIVENESS CLAUSE; SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; CON- FLICTS CLAUSE; AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on September 12, 2000, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 00-3267, the Plainview City Council approved the 2000-2001 Budget; and WHEREAS, the Budget is a general guideline for revenue and expenditures and may require periodic amendments; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined a need for the City to budget additional funds to purchase computer hardWare and software for the Plainview / Hale County Health Department; and WHEREAS, said purchase will replace a server that is no longer operable; and WHEREAS, said purchase will require more monies than was originally budgeted for purchase of a server; now THEREFORE, THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW HEREBY ORDAINS that the 2000-2001 Budget is amended to appropriate $2,609.00 to the Plainview / Hale County Health Department's Fund as follows: Section I: Account No. 2000-2001 Budget Appropriation Amended Budget 01-52-6232 -0- $2,014.00 $2,014.00 01-52,6801 $4,400.00 $595.00 $4,995.00 Section II: Provisions of this ordinance are cumulative and nOthing herein shall prevent, alter or diminish the applicability or enforcement of other ordinances restricting, regulating or governing the subject matter herein. Ordinance No. 01-3277 Plainview / Hale County Health Department Budget Amendment Page 1 of 2 4 Section III: If any section, sentence, clause phrase, or portion of this ordinance is, for any reason, held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct, and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions thereof. Section IV: All ordinances or portion of any ordinance of the City of Plainview, Texas, in conflict herewith are hereby amended to conform with the provisions hereof. Section V: This ordinance shall be of full force and effect upon its passage. Passed and approved on the 13t~ day of February, 2001.
