Motion by Alderman Frogge, seconded by Alderman Hancock, that
the following ordinance be pasSed and adopted. The motion was car-

AN 0RDINANCEAMENDtNG 0RD~ANCE NO. i AND ELIMINATING
LOTS 57 to 74 OF.BLOCK NO.. 1, G.W.0~NS ADDITION TO
THE TOWN OF PLAIB~VIEW, HALE COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM THE
FIRE LIMITS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C:!TY OF PLA!NVIEW, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1 of the City of Plainview
be and it is-hereby amended.
Section 2. That from and after the passage of this ordinance
all of Lots 57 to 74 inclusive, of Block No. i of the G.W.0wens Ad-
dition to the town of Plainview, Hale County, Texas, is hereby
taken out of the fire limits in the City of Plainuiew and $~k~ not
hereafter be considered within the fire limits of the City of Plain-
view.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May A.D. 194'5.

2he city tax collector, PoH.~Bryan, be and he is hereby instructed
to notify thoseWho are delinquent in the payment of city taxes to
pay same by June l, 1945, or the.accountS will'be placed in the
care of the cit~.attorney FrankeR.Day with instructions to bring
suit for the collection of same. The motion was carried and it
was so ordered.
- Motion by A~derman 0shorne, seconded by Aldermqn Frogge, that
the City appropriate out of the City's General Fund. S2,000.00 to
the Municipal Go[~.t'~Se'b& Country Club,~The motion was carried
and it was so'ordered.
