AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING, STOPPING, OR STANDING
OF ANY MOTOR VEHICLE ON A PORTION OF ]_iTH STREET IN THE CITY
OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas,
has determined that it would be in the best interest of the
public that parking, stopping, or standing of motor vehicles
of any kind be prohibited on the following portion of llth
Street, to-wit:
On the North side and the South slide of llth Street from
the intersection of llth and Baltimore Streets to the
intersection of llth and Denver Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: Parking, stopping or standing of any kind of
a motor vehicle on the North side and the South side of llth
Street from the intersection of llth and Baltimore Streets to
the intersection of llth and Denver Streets is prohibited.
SECTION 2: Ail ordinances or part of any ordinance of the
City 6f Plainview, Texas, in conflict herewith are hereby amended
to conform with the provisions hereof.
SECTION 3: Any person who shall violate or fail to comply
with any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished
by a fine in the sum of not less than $1.00 nor more than $200.00.
