AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE BUDGET SUBMITTED BY THE CITY MANAGER OF
THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the Budget prepared by the City Manager of Plain-
view, Texas for the City of Plainview, Texas for the year commencing
October 1, 1981 through and including September 30, 1982, is hereby
approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk of the City of Plain-
view, Texas.
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby ordered to file a copy of said
Budget with the County Clerk, Hale County, Texas.
The fact that there is a public necessity to provide adequate and
normal services to the citizens of the City of Plainview and to pro-
vide for sufficient funds to furnish said services creates an emerg-
ency and an imperative public necessity for immediate preservation
of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare and because
of the date, any and all rules requiring more than one reading are
hereby su~spended, and this Ordinance shall be passed and take effect
as an emergency measure and be in full force and effect from and
after the 1st day of October~ 1981, and it is so ordained.
PASSED this the 29th day of September~ 1981, by unanimous vote of
the City Council.
APPROVED this the 29th day of September~ 1981.
