AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING, STOPPING OR STANDING OF
ANY MOTOR VEHICLE ON A PORTION OF STATE HIGHWAY MH652 (INDUS-
TRIAL BOULEVARD) IN THE CITY OF P ~
LAINVIEW, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING
FOR A PENALTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas,
has determined it would be in the best interest of the public
that parking, stopping or standing of motor vehicles of any
kind be prohibited on the following portion of State Highway
MH652 (Industrial Boulevard), City of Plainview, Texas, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of United States Highway
87 (State Business Route 445) and State Highway MH652
(Industrial Boulevard) West for a distance of 1,320 feet
on the North side and the South side of State Highway
MH652 (Industrial Boulevard).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: Parking, stopping or standing of any kind of a
motor vehicle on the North side of that portion of State Highway
~652 '~IndUStrial Boulevard) located within the city limits of
Plainview, Texas, and the South side of State Highway MH652
(Industrial Boulevard) from the intersection of United States
Highway 87 (State Business Route 445) West for a distance of
1,320 feet, is prohibited.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or part of any ordinance of the
City of Plainview, Texas, in conflict herewith are hereby amended
tO conform with the provisions hereof.
SECTION 3: Any person who shall violate or fail to comply
with any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished
by a fine in the sum of not less than $1.00 nor more than $200.00.
