AN ORDINANCE APPROVINGTHEBUDGET SUBMITTal) BY THECITYMAN~/~ROFTHE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, FOR THEFISCALY-FAR 1982-83.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P~~, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Budget prepared bythe City Managerof Plainview,
Texasfor the City of Plainview, Texas for the year cc~mencing
October 1, 1982 through and including Sept~ember 30, 1983, is hereby
approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Plainview, Texas.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered to file a copy of said
Budget with the County Clerk, Hale County, Texas.
The fact that there is a public necessity to provide adequate and
normal services to the citizens of the City of Plainviewandto
provide for sufficient funds to furnish said services creates an
emergency and an imperative public necessity'for ~iate
preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare
andbecause of the date, anyand all rules requiring m ore than one
reading are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shallbepassedand
take effect as an emergency measure and be in full force and effect
frcm and after the 1st day of October, 1982, and it is so ordained.
PASSED th is the 28thday of September, 1982, by unanimousvote of the
City Councii.
