ORDINANCE NO. 82-2502
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ~ SHARING ~LI~ET SUBMITTED BY THE City
~%NAGER OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI. TY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Revenue Sharing Budget prepared by the City Manager of
Plainview, Texas, for ttle City of Plainview, Texas, for the year ccmlmencing
October 1, 1982 through and including September 30, 1983, is hereby
approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk of the City of Plainview,
Texas o
Section 2. The adoption of this Ordinance includes the Revenue Sharing
Budget as part of the City of Plainview annual budget for the Fiscal Year
1982-83.
The fact that there is a public necessity to provide adequate and normal
services to the citizens of the City of Plainview and to provide for
sufficient funds to furnish said services creates an emergency and an
imperative public necessity for immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, safety and general welfare and because of the necessity to publish
notice of this Ordinance prior to its effective date, any and all rules
requiring more than one reading are hereby suspended; and, this Ordinance
shall be passed and take effect as an emergency measure and be in full
force and effect frc~ and after the 1st day of October, 1982, and it is so
ordained.
