An ordinance prohibiting the Parking, Stopping or Standing of any
motor vehicle on a portion of West 7th Street in the City of
Plainview, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas has
determined that it would be in the best interest of the public
that parking, stopping or standing of motor vehicles of every
kind be prohibited on the following portions of West 7th Street
to wit:
On the North side of West 7th Street in the 100 block, beginning
at the East curb line of Austin Street at its intersection with
West 7th Street and extending East along West 7th Street for a
distance of 64 feet.
On the North side of West 7th Street in the 200 block, beginning
at the West curbtineof Austin Street at. its intersection with
West 7th Street and extending West along West 7th Street for a
distance of 60 feet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: ParkinG, Stopping or Standing o~ any kind of motor
vehicle on the North Side of West 7th Street in the 100 block,
beginning at the East curb line of Austin Street at its intersec-
tion with West 7th Street and extending East along West 7th Street
for a distance of 64 feet is prohibited,
SECTION 2: Parking, Stopping or Standing o~ any kind of motor
~~n the North side of West 7th Street in the 200 block,
beginning at the West curb line of Austin S~reet at its intersec-
tion with West 7th Street and extending West along ~est 7th Street
for a distance of 60 feet is prohibited..
SECTION 3: All ordinances or part of any ordinance of the City of
Plainview, Texas, in conflict herewith are hereby amended to conform
with the provisions hereof.
SECTION 4: Any person who shall violate or fail to comply with any
of the provisions of this ordinance shall b~ deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be.p~nished by a fine in the
sum of not less than $1.00 nor more than $2~0.00
