rewrite another version, or start over with a new direction of goals to fit the Main Street Board. An

Hot Grant Applications-Three applications were submitted for review. Kenneth Hooper for Plainview
Elks #1175 requested $750 for PanWest District Interlodge meeting April 21,22,23, 2017. The money to
be used to purchase Plainview Bucks from the Chamber of Commerce to be placed in attendees gift
bags. Michael Graves made a motion while Logan seconded it to not issue the grant money for coin
usage but for items used for marketing. Passed.
Doris Sanchez representing West Texas Tejano/Conjunto Group (WTTCG) is planning the 2nd Annual 16
de Septiember Tejano/Conjunto Festival to be held at Running Water Draw Park. They request $750 for
promotional advertising through flyers, posters, tshirts, newspaper. One-two thousand people are
expected to attend the event. A block of 10 hotel/motel rooms will available for performers. Andrea
made a motion to accept and Cynthia seconded.
