ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING

*The meeting was called to order by President Gary Stennett. Gary gave the invocation.
* Minutes of the May 9th meeting were approved.
*Irma gave the financial report for April.
*Margie Dickenson is the Volunteer of the Month.
* "Mv Dad Reads to Me''_ has had 9 _dads._read to 17 _children with 51_ books being
shipped.
*The June Birthday Recognition will be June 14th at McDonald's.
*Irma reported that the grant reports are due in July.
*Irma reported on the recent Southwest National Service Training Conference in
Phoenix, AZ. She said funding for Senior Corps looks good for another year.
*The community gardens are doing well_
*Project Serve is scheduled for July 29'h. RSVP will be cleaning the Hike and Bike Trail.
*RSVP Movie Night was fun. Thirty-five attended.
*The RSVP golf tournament will be June 174h.
*Irma reported that RSVP events are listed on the city website.
*Lunch Bunch will meet on June 20' with a program by Shane Harrell on home security.
*The next meeting will be July 11'h.
*Twyla reported a total of 342 volunteers with 207 serving 5657 hours.
*Meeting was adjourned.
