*The meeting wvas called to order by President Gary Stennett. Joe Provence gave the
prayer.
Minutes of the February 12th meeting ,%ere approved.
*Irma gave the financial report for January.
*Mary Ann James Nvas introduced as Volunteer of the Month.
*Cassandra Gary Nvas introduced as the neNN Volunteer Assistant.
*-My Dad Reads to Me" has recorded 7 dads reading to 11 children with 21 books
shipped.
"RSVP has been selected to receive the prestigious Governor's Criminal Justice
Volunteer Service Award.
*The March Birthday Recognition "ill be March 13th at McDonald's.
*RSVP's grant application x%as approN ed by CNCS fora three year award of S46.540.
*The National Service Recognition Day will be April 2"d. Mayor Dunlap will present a
proclamation for the event on March 28"' at Covenant Hospital 9:00 to 10:30 AM.
*Gardeners at the community gardens are getting ready for the upcoming spring planting.
*HCLC has a new program to assist individuals with job readiness training.
*Luneh Bunch met on February 20' for program by Rhiannon Castaneda from
Inspirations.
*The next meeting will be April 9. 2019.
*Cassandra reported a total of 356 volunteers with 217 ser\ ing 5.401 hours in January.
* Ballots for Volunteer of the Month were distributed.
*Meeting was adjourned.
