ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING
JUNE 18, 2019

*The meeting was called to order by President Gary Stennett. Tara gave the prayer.
* Minutes of the May meeting were approved.
*The Volunteer of the Month is Sarah Kunkel.
*Lisa Wright was introduced as the new Volunteer Assistant.
*Irma gave the financial report for April.
*"My Dad Reads to Me" has recorded 13 dads reading to 23 children with 46 books
shipped.
*The June Birthday Recognition was June 12th at McDonald's. Littlefield will have their
Birthday Recognition later this summer.
* Federal Grant ends June 301h with reports due by July 31. The new grant starts July I".
*RSVP will be picking up trash on the Hike and Bike trail as a part of Operation Service
and city-wide cleanup on July 27.
*Lunch Bunch will meet on June 271h
*The community gardens are looking good with the exception of the Frisco where they
are insisting on raised beds.
*The 1 I1h Annual RSVP Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, August P.
*Irma is considering a separate recognition banquet in September for volunteers in the
Littlefield and Sudan area.
*RSVP will participate the Red, White and Moo Parade on July 4`h.
*The next meeting will be July 9, 2019.
*Lisa reported a total of 347 volunteers with 2231 serving 5,534 hours in April.
* Ballots for Volunteer of the Month were distributed.
*Meeting was adjourned.
