ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING
OCTOBER 8, 2019

*The meeting was called to order by President Gary Stennett. Andrea Unwin gave the
prayer.
* Minutes of the September meeting were approved as amended.
* Irma gave the financial report for August.
* Volunteer of the Year is Bert Wall.
*The October Birthday Recognition will be October 9th at McDonald's.
*The State Federal Financial Report has been submitted with other reports due at the end
of October and in November.
*Irma reported that the dates for federal grants have been changed so they will now run
from April 1 to March 31.
*The 461" Annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet was held on October 1 st and went very
smoothly. Irma thanked everyone who helped.
*The DEA National TAKEBACK Day will be October 26 from 10:00 AM to 2.00 PM on
the Wayland campus.
*RSVP and the 4-H will have a final cleanup on the Hike and Bike Trail on October 9"'.
*There is still $300 pending from the Golf Tournament.
*New office equipment has been purchased. The RVSP email will now be on the City
server. Irma and Lisa will have new email addresses.
*Breakfast with Santa will be on Saturday, December 7" at 011ie Liner Center.
*Lunch Bunch will meet on October 3Is'
*Irma reported that she is working on a project for Veterans Day.
*Lisa reported a total of 359 volunteers with 241 serving 6031 hours in August.
* Ballots for Volunteer of the Month were distributed.
*Next meeting will be November 12, 2019.
*Meeting was adjourned.
