The Main Street Coordinating Board met on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at noon in the Fair Theater.
Members attending the meeting Andrea Glenn, Ranada Jack, Tori Huddleston, John Turpen, Jay Givens, Kelly Alison, Phyllis
Wall, Melinda Brown, Cynthia Gregory and Jordon Dunlap
CALL TO ORDER:
Ranada called the meeting to order at 12:04 P.M.
APPROVE MINUTES:
Jay moved to accept last minutes, Kelly seconded, and the motion carried.
OWNER RELATIONSHIP PROJECT ASSIGNMENT UPDATES:
Ranada emphasized that the letter to our business owners really needed to be sent, that they were a means
Kelly suggested everyone follow up with a phone call. Jordon gave anexample.
Andrea ask how to contact the churches and Phyllis ask if Main Street had a business card we could pass
out.
Tori said there was contact information on the letters we were sending out and that she could give us some
of her cards.
Ranada ask if we wanted cards and everyone said yes.

Phyllis did a report on the 2 Saturday events
DESIGN:
Façade Grant Update: Ranada mentioned that there were about 4 applications so far.
ORGANIZATION:

ECONOMIC RESTURCTURING:
No report
COMMUNITY SURVEYS:
Tori reported that about 170 people had filled out the online survey
Ranada adjourned the meeting 12:57
