HomeMy WebLinkAboutRSVP 04-13-2021 MinutesTHE RUNNINGWATER DRAW RSVP ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 13, 2021 MEMBERS PRESENT STAFF PRESENT Gary Stennett Carol Schulz Irma Shackleford Bobbye Dennis Elsa Cooper Rebecca Gloyna Emma Herring Tara Walker Nicki Logan Lori Durham *The meeting was called to order by President Gary Stennett. Tara Walker gave the opening prayer. *The Minutes of the February meeting were approved. *Irma gave the financial report for January which was accepted as presented. *Irma introduced Rebecca "Becca Gloyna as the new Volunteer Assistant. *Irma reported that Match 3151 was the end of year two of the three-year federal grant. A progress report, the Federal Cash Transaction Report and the FFR Federal Financial Report are due at the end of April. *RSVP provided 21 volunteers to assist with the recent COVID-19 vaccine clinics. *Littlefield Lamb County Auxiliary and the Sudan Senior Citizen Center sent handwritten notes to nursing homes in their areas. *Lamb Count) Auxiliary has been busy sho-v ing their gratitude to First Responders and the staff at the Lamb Healthcare Center. *Irma has been compiling information from recent surveys from Meals on Wheels and FISH as part of Performance Measure for the federal grant. *Irma is currently rene,.King the Memorandum of Understanding with the majorit) of the volunteer stations. M *The communit) gardens are getting started with all of the past gardeners being notified. *Irma reported that Gail Thrasher has resigned from the board and will need to be replaced. *Board discussed doing a recognition for Joe Provence, longtime board member. *Resuming regular activities including future fundraiser ,"as discussed. *Next meeting,vill be May 11. 2021. *Volunteer report for January showed a total of 337 Volunteers with 162 serving 2938 hours.
