Downown Plainview/ Main Street Program & Tourism Coordinating Board

Call to Order: Ranada .lack, President
Time: 1 1:39 a.m.
Board Members Present: Ranada Jack, Carol Terrell, Janice Payne, Cynthia Gregory,
Macrina Greve, Jay Givens, and Phyllis Wall.
City of Plainview Main Street representatives: Melinda Brown and Tori Huddleston.
Guest: Kristi Aday, EDC Director, and Tonya Keesee, ex-officio member representing the
Plainview Chamber of Commerce. Beth Duke, Executive Director of Center City Amarillo
HOF Grant Application
Melinda Presented a HOT Grant Applaication for $1,000 submitted by the Panhandle Parade
of Breeds. Phyllis made a motion to award them $750 plus additional funds up to $1,000
depending on hotel occupancy from this event. Carol voiced the second. The motion
passed with a 7-0 vote.
Board workshop with Beth D(..)ke
Beth Duke lead the board workshop and gave strategies to continue being an effective
board following the Streetscape Ribbon Cutting.
