Downtown Plainview Main Street Program & Tourism Coordinating Board

Board Members Present: Ranada Jack, John Turpen, Diane Martinez, Macrina Greve, Cynthia
Gregory, Jay Givens, Phyllis Wall.
City of Plainview, Downtown Plainview Main Street representatives: Melinda Brown and Tori
Huddleston.
Guests: Kristi Aday, EDC Director, Tonya Keesee, ex-officio member representing the Plainview
Chamber of Commerce.

John Turpen motioned to approve the September minutes as printed. Cynthia Gregory voiced
the second, and the motion passed with a 7-0 vote.

John Turpen motioned to approve the Friends of Downtown budget report with the additional
$133.96 increase for the Downtown Plainview mugs. Diane Martinez voiced the second, and the
motion passed with a 7-0 vote.
Melinda Brown shared the budget form example and asked that each committee use one form
per request. She also shared that each board member should have Open Meeting training and
the link would be sent in an email.
