A RESOLgTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

%q~S, %~he Texas Dept. of High~ys and Public Transporta%ion. is
to rebuild tho railroad overpass on U.S. 70, (Fast 5th S~_reet) which
will necessitate the detouring of traffic on U.S. 70 during the
construction; and
~THERF~%S, the Texas Dept. of Highways and Public Transportation
has requ..',ested that East 4th Street and East 6th Street, from Grove to
I~/ Street, and MJlwee to be used as detour for traffic during this
construction; and
t4~K~RF2~, the Texas Dept. of Highways and Public Transportation
~1! ~int~in these street during the detouring t~ne. and will repair any
damage to the detour roadways before turning them back to the City of
P!ainview:
N(75, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the l~yor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas that a detour agreement be executed between
t_he City of Plainview and the Texas Dept. of Highways and Public
5.~ansportation allowing the use of East 4th, East 6-th, ~nd Milwee Street
to .be used to detour traffic during the time the overpass is under
Const~action.
