A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF
PIAi%YgIEW, TEXAS APPROV]/4G A FEDERALGPJkNTASSISTANCE
APPLICATION UNDERTHEFEDERALWATERPOLLUTION
CONTROL ACT ANDAUTHORIZING~SI~YORTOSIGNTHE
APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF THE CiTY OF PLAINVIEW.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview is filing an application through
the Environmental Protection Agency for waste water facility
construction to make improvements to our sewer collection andtreatment
system; and
WHEREAS, the project estimated cost is $1,700,000 with the City's
Share being $461,915; and
~K~REAS, this improvements are necessary to the City of Plainview
to its collection and treatment system to stay within perimeters of our
discharge permit; and
WHEREAS, these improvements will make the collection system and
reclamation plant capable of handling continuous gr~Wch of our
commmnity:
NOW, RY4EREF~REBE RESOLVED BY theMayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the Mayor be authorized to sign onbehalf
of the City for waste water facility construction.
