RESOLUTION NO. R83- 573
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS APPRO-
PRIATING $164.89 FROM THE 1976 G.O. PARK BOND FUND ACCOUNT NO. 3-0-60812
AS PARTIAL PAYMENT TO M.U. BARTON COMPANY, INC. FOR THREE (3) PERMANENT
BRONZE PLAGUES TO BE ERECTED AT LAKESIDE, GIVENS AND FRISCO PARKS.
WHEREAS, permanent plaques, installed in each newly developed park site,
are required by the developmental grant received from Texas
Parks and Wildlife Department, and
WHEREAS, the balance of cost remaining for the three plagues is $1,473.89
of which $1,309.00 may be paid from remaining 1980 Community
Development Funds in order to deplete and close out the 1980
Community Development Park Account, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the 1976 G.O. Park Bond Fund
Account No. 3-0-60812 to pay this expenditure of $164.89,
NON, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas to appropriate $164.89 from the 1976 G.O.
Park Bond Fund Account No. 3-0-60812 as partial payment to
M.U. Barton Company, Inc. for three (3) permanent plaques to
be erected in Lakeside, Givens and Frisco Parks.

This Resolution authorizes, payment of $164.89 from the 1976
G.O. Park Bond Fund as partial payment of a total of $1,473.89
balance remaining.
Total Cost of three (3) permanent plaques = $2,2!0.84
Amount paid from 1980 Community Development~ 2j045.95
Funds
Amount Paid from 1976 Park Bond Fund $ 164.89
Upon payment, this expenditure will deplete all Park development
funds in the 1980 Community Development Account and all future
expenditures will be from Bond funds/reimbursments from Texas
Parks and Wildlife.
