A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
A ~NELVE (12) LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION FOR THE AIRPOR~ TRAFFIC CONTROL BU!TDING.
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has submitted a
proposed contract for the lease of the Airport Tower Facility
containing
a total of 2,105 square feet for a 12 month period from October, 1983
through September 30, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the FAA has agreed to pay Plainview/Hale County Airport an
annual rent of $1,810.30 which is reimbursement for the insurance,
utilities, and other miscellaneous cost incurred by the Hale County
Airport on this facility:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the Mayor be authorized to sign on behalf
of the City, Federal Aviation Lease No. DTFA07-84-L01006, leasing the
Airport Traffic Control Facility to the FAA for renewal for a 12-month
period beginning October 1, 1983 through September 30, 1983, for a lease
amount of $1,810.30 per year.
