Designed around a 'fail-safe' solid state system, the desired saturation of 6 percent is monitored by the use. of electronic components to insure unconsciousness in less than one minute. The unit is designed to provide easy access for administering and' cleaning through the use of all stainless steel construction. A corrosion-resistive expanded metal Cage system is provided as an integral part of each unit. This cage system is uniquely designed to house, transport and enter into the euthanasia cabinet, thereby reducing the stress factor beca, use of minimum handling of the animal. Further, total utilization and maximum efficiency is also accomplished. The door locks automatically when the cycle is initiated. Only after the cycle is completed and the unit automatically exhausted and clear of CO can the door be opened. AAI is concerned with the effect of carbon monoxide on our sensitive environment. Measures have been implemented to assure the exhausting of nonpolluting and safe gases into the atmosphere. NOTE: Cage as shown is to display cage doors.
