A RESOLUTIONOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF $8,598.57 FRC~4THE
UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND FORREPLA~OF GURBAND
GU~TER~AT~.~ IMPR~S LOCATED AT 6THANDAUSTINST.
WHEREAS, by City Council action on March 8, 1983, the City of
Plainview was authorized to participate in the Downtown Beautification
Project by installing new gurb and gutters, and paying 1/2 cost of the
concrete alley paving of the east and west alley off of 6th Street
between Austin and Baltimore; and
WHEREAS, this work has now be accc~plished and a statement of cost
has beenpresentedtothe City of Plainview:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVEDbytheMayor and CityCouncil of the
City of Plainview, Texas authorizing appropriation of $8,598.57 be
appropriated frcm the Undesignated General Fund and be paid to the City
National Bank as the City's participation in the Downtown Beautification
Project.

the paving improvements at Sixth and Austin Streets. The
corner is lo~king much better and we feel it will be a.~definate
asset to downtown Plainview.
Enclosed is final cost estimate of the City's share. The
bank will pay for the entire project so you may make your
check payable to City National Bank.
