A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, REAPPOINTING TOM HAMTT.TON AS CITY ATTORNEY AND
ESTABLISHING A RETAINER FEE.
WHEREAS, Section 23 of the Charter of the City of Plainview
establishes the qualifications and duties of the City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, Tom Hamilton meets said qualifications and standards of
Section 23; and
WHEREAS, negotiations between the City Council and Tc~ Hamilton
have been completed and a monthly retainer fee has been agreed upon of
$2,650 a month for the performance of the duties of City Attorney:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas to reappoint Tom Hamilton as City Attorney and
authorize payment of the negotiated retainer fee.
