RESOLUTION NO. R83-610
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF PIAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN ARCHITECiTRRAL
CONTRACT WITH JAMES ROBISON FOR THE DESIGN AND SUPERVISION
OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FIRE TRAINING FB£ILITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview is recipient of a Fire Training
Grant Funds to be used for improve training and facilities for the
Plainview Fire Department and Fire Departments surrounding Plainview;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has recently acquired a site
adjacent to the Quincy Sub-station for the purpose of constructing a
training building and faclity; ahnd
WHEREAS, in order for the City of Plainview to receive bids it is
now necessary to design the facility and draft specifications for which
James Robison, Architect has agreed to do the design and supervise the
construction for an amount of 6% of the construction total:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the Mayor be authorized to enter into an
architectural contract with James Robison for the design and supervision
of the construction of a Fire Training Facility.
