A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PIAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A PURCHASE
AG~ WITH STANSBURY EQUIPM~qT OF AMARILLO FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A AUTOM/DBILE LIFT FOR THE SHOP.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 82-2500 passed on September 28, 1982
authorize the purchase of an autc~otive lift for the City's service
maintenance center; and
WHEREAS, the invitations for bids were duly advertised and received
at 10:00 a.m. June 13, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Stansbury Equipment of Amarillo submitted the single for
one (1) 11,000 lb. capacity front and rear twin post automotive lift
with adjustable front post in the amount of $6,472 installed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT resolved by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the City be authorized to enter into a
purchase agreement with Stansbury Equipment of Amarillo for the purchase
of a front & rear twin post autcmotive shop lift.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 28th day of ~June, 1983.
