A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAC~RR TO EN~ff~ INTO AN
AGRRRMENT WITH BARBER, BRANNON & TRAYLOR, INC. FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT AND COMPLETION OF A COb~UNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION.

WHEREAS, the City of Plainview desires to submit an application
for funding of the Texas ~ity Block Grant Program, 1983-84; and
WHEREAS, Barber, Brannon & Traylor, Inc. of Tyler has been
successful in working with the City of Plainview in previous years to
receive Community Development Block Grants which have been used for
improvements in Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the application preparation fee will be charged to the
City in the amount of $1,750 and, if funded the City will retain Barber,
Brannon & Traylor, Inc. to provide grant administrative services for the
project for a fee of 10% of the grant:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the City Manager be authorized to enter
into an agreement with Barber, Brannon & Traylor, Inc. for the
development of a Texas Cc~nunity Development Block Grant Program
Application for which they shall receive a fee of $1,750, which will be
appropriated from the General Fund uD~ppropriated balance, and if funded
they will be retained to provide administrative services for a fee of
10% of the grant received.
