TEXAS APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF THE WESTERN ACRES
ADDITION, PLAINVIEW, HA/~. COUNTY, TEXAS (ORIGINALLY SUB-
MIS~ED AS THE SETLIFF ADDITION, PLAINVIEW, HAT.~ COUNTY,
TEXt)
WHEREAS, a prel~inary plat of the Setliff Addition, Plainview,
Hale County, Texas has been presented along with the appropriate plat
fees and the necessary information to the City Engineer of the City of
Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Cc~mission on July 28, 1983,
approved said preliminary plat of the Setliff Addition subject to the
following stipulations:
1) That the name of the addition be changed in accordance with
the wish of Mr. Herbert Setliff.
2) That a twenty (20) feet wide alley be dedicated along the
north line of the property to provide access to the north-
south alley on the west.
3) That a thirty-five (35) feet building set back line be
shown along the east edge of the property.
4) That the west half of the alley at the rear of the property be
dedicated; and
WHEREAS, the name "Western Acres Addition, Plainview, Hale County,
Texas" has been proposed as an appropriate name change; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview has reviewed
said preliminary plat and finds that it complies with the intent of
Subdivision Regulations of the City of Plainview:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT resolved by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that the Preliminary Plat of the Western Acres
Addition, Plainview, Hale County, Texas originally submitted as the
Setliff Addition, Plainview, Hale County, Texas, be and is hereby
approved subject to the stipulations re~nded by the Planning and
Zoning Cc~mission; and that the final plat for said addition incorporate
all of said stipulations.
