A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS ACCEPTING ROOF REPAIR WORK COMPLETED AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT OF $12,820.00 TO J. Q. LONG ROOFING COMPANy OF
PLAIN]flEW, TEXAS FOR SAID WORK.

WHEREAS, the City had six (6) buildings needing immediate roof
repairs, and
WHEREAS, four (4) bids were received for this work on June 24, 1983
and contract was awarded to the low bidder, J. Q. Long Roofing Company of
Plainview, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all work specified in the proposal has been completed
inspected and approved by the City Staff; '
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the work be accepted and approved, and
that payment in the amount of $12,430.00 be made to J. Q. Long Roofing
Company for the work bid and completed plus an additional $390.00 for
1300 square feet of insulation replacement at the Water Treatment Plant
said total payment being $12,820.00 ·
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2_3ri day of August, 1983.
