A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLA/NVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
ESTIMATED NO. 1 PAYABLE TO THE HALE COU57i~ AIRPORT
FUND FOR THE CITY'S PORTION OF SEAL COATING RUNWAY
4-22 AND RSECIqSTRUCTION OF RUNWAY 13-31 TO HIGH
PLAINS PAVERS, INC.
WHEREAS, by previous action the City Council has entered into a
contract with High Plains Pavers, Inc. for the seal coating of Runway
4-22 and the reconstruction of Rnnway 13-31 at the Hale County/Plainview
WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid was in the amount of $66,271.15 of
which Plainview's portion is $28,385.57; and
WHEREAS, this work b~sbeen completed byHigh Plains Pavers, Inc.
and have submitted Construction Estimate No. 1 requesting payment:
NOW, THEREFORE BE ITRESOLVEDby the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the City be authorized to make payment to
the Hale County AirportFund in the an~unt of $26,728.79 as the City's
portion of said improvements made at theHale County/PlainviewAirport.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the !lth day of October, 1983.
