A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLA/NVIEW,
TEXAS CASTING THE CITY'S VOTES FOR A CANDIDATE TO SERVE
ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S OF THE TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has shown its desire by previous
action to participate in the Hale County Texas Appraisal District; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the County Court using the
formula outlined in Senate Bill 621 that the City of Plainview has 720
votes to cast toward a director; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview has nominated
Tom Almon as their candidate:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT P~SOLV~D by the Mayor and the City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas that 720 votes, being the total number of
votes for which the City of Plainview is eligible, be cast for the City
Council' s nc~inee Tom Almon.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 25th day of October, 1983.
