A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF MEASONVILLE, UNIT
NO. t, PLAINVIEW, HALE COUNTY TEXAS SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
LIMITATIONS. ' '
WHEREAS, a preliminary plat of Measonville, Unit No. l, Plainview,
Hale County, Texas, has been submitted along with appropriate plat fees
andand necessary, information to the City Engineer of the City of Plainview;
.WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission on December 29, 1983,
approved said preliminary plat of Measonville, Unit No. 1, as submitted;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview has reviewed
said preliminary plat Of Measonvil]e, Unit No. I and finds that it complies
with the intent of the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Plainview,
except, however, that said proposed Measonvilte, Unit No. l, lies consider-
able distance from any previously developed area and that costs of extend-
ing water, sewer and street improvements properly sized for future develop-
ment of the general area would be of such magnitude that City participation
in their construction is not considered advisable; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview wishes to permit
growth of the City and realizes the potential for growth which exists for
the area around said proposed Measonville, Unit No. 1:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that the Preliminary Plat of Measonville, Unit No. 1,
Plainview, Hale County, Texas, be and is hereby approved as submitted subject,
however, to the stipulations and understanding that all water, sewer and
street improvements extended to serve said Measonville, Unit No. l, shall be
designed and constructed of the sizes and specifications required by the
City of Plainview entirely at the expense of the subdivider and without
cost to the City of Plainview.
