A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING PAYMENT AND APPROPR/ATI%~ $2,000 FROM
THE WATER & SEWER UNDESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PAYMENT
OF AN ANNUAL WASTE WATER TREATMENT INSPECTION FEE AS
IMPOSED BY THE TEXAS DEPT. OF WATER RESOURCES.
WHEREAS, during the last Texas Legislative Session, the Texas
Department of Water Resources was allowed to impose a fee for annual
waste treatment inspections for each permitee holding a permit under the
Texas Water Code Chapter 26; and
WHEREAS, the amount of this fee is determined by the daily average
flow of which the permitted facility is authorized as of October 1 of
the year of which the fee is payable; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview waste water treatment facility is
permitted for 3 million plus gallons per day, establishing a fee at the
maxirmau of $2,000:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that the City Manager be authorized to make
payment to the Waste Treatment Facility Inspection Fund as required by
State law in the amount of $2,000 and that these fund be appropriated
frc~ the Undesignated Water & Sewer Fund Account.
