A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS D~CLARINGTHEEAST 110 FEET OF LOTS 19, 20, 21, AND 1/2
OF LOT 22, BLOCK 8, NOB HILL ADDITION, PLAiNVIEW, TEXAS TO BE
SURPLUS REAL PROPER~YANDAUTHORIZINGTHEADVERTIS~FOR
BIDS: PBDVID/NGFOR PAY~JZNTOF SAID ADVERTISEMENT.
WHEREAS, Walker Brothers Produce Co, Inc. has expressed an interest
in acquiring the East 110 feet of Lots 19, 20, 21, and 1/2 of Lot 22,
Block 8, Nob Hill Addition, Plainview, Hale County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, OrdiD~nnce 65-659 requires the advertisement for sealed
bids before conveyance of surplus real property; and
WHEREAS, under normal conditions the advertisement for sealed bids
should bewilling to pay the cost of the advertisement:
NOWr THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas:
SECTION 1:
Declare surplus real property the East 110 feet ofLots
19, 20, 21, and 1/2 of LOt 22, Block 8, Nob Hill
Addition, Plainview, Hale County, Texas
SECTION 2: Authorize the City Manager to get an appraised value
of said property.
SECTION 3: Authorize the City Manager to advertise for sealed
bids.
SECTION 4: Instruct the City Manager to insure payment of the
advertisement by successful bidder.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 28th day of February., 1984.
