A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PIAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXEEIrfE AMENDMENT NO. 3
TO THE ~I~G~RING AGBE~NT WITH PAtHKHI~, SMITH- &
COOPER, INC. FOR ENGINR. RRING SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH
THE AIRPORT GRANT FOR THE I-IAT,~ COUNTY/P~~ AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, by previous action, the City Council and Hale County
Conwmissioners Court employed Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. of Lubbock
to provide engineering, services associated with the FAA grants received
at theHaleCounty/PlainviewAirport; and
WHEREAS, the FAA project accepted by the City and Council last
September including reconstruction marking of taxiwayparallelsto
Runway 13/31, extension of marking taxiway parallel to Runway 4-22, and
installation of perimeter fencing around the airport has been received;
and
WHEREAS, additional engineering services due to this grant are
necessaryare to beperformed Parkhill, Smith, &Cooper, Inc.
incorporated into Amendment No. 3 to the original engineering agreement:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City Council of
Plainview, Texas that the Mayor be authorized to execute Amendment No. 3
with Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. for additional engineering services
associated with the above mentioned grant at the Hale County/Plainview
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 27th day of March, 1984.
