A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE SALE OF THE EAST 110 FEET OF
LOTS 19,20, & 1/2 OF LOT 22, BLOCK 8, NOB H/I.I. ADDITION
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATIY)RNEY TO PREPARE THE NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS FOR TRANSFER OF TITLE OF SAID SALW..
WHEREAS, by Council action on February 28th, 1984, the City Council
declared the East 110 feet of Lots 19,20, & 1/2 of Lot 22, Block 8, Nob
Hill Addition, Plainview, Hale County, Texas to be surplus real property
and authorized the advertisement to receive bids for its sale; and
WHEREAS, the property was appraised and the advertisement was
properly made including a statement that the City would not receive bids
less than the appraised price of $2,625.00; and
WHEREAS, on March 26, 1984, the City of Plainviewreceived a bid
frcm Walker Produce Co.,Inc. in the amount of $2,625.00 and this bid
being the only bid received:

Lot 22, Block 8, Nob Hill Addition, Plainview, Hale County, Texas being
declared surplus real property be sold the successful bidder, Walker
Produce CO., Inc. in the amount of $2,625.00 and that the City Attorney
be authorized to prepare the proper documents for transfer of title.
