A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS R~CEIVING BIDS AND ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST
BID; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A PURCHASE
CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN TRAILOR OF LUBBOCK FOR A SIX-YARD
DUMP BED FOR THE STREET DEPARTM~.

WHEREAS, by previous Council and the adoption of Ordinance No.
83-2526, Revenue Sharing Account was established to purchase a dump
truck chasis & bed for the Street Department; and
WHEREAS, advertisement was duly made and bids were opened on April
2, 1984 at 2:00 p.m. and three bids were received for the 6 yard dump
bed; and
WHEP~AS, after study and review, recontnendation is being made that
the bid received from American Trailer in the amount of $4,063.00 be
accepted for said 6-yard dump bed:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the ~yor and City Council of the
City of Plainview accept the bid of American Trailer in the amount of
$4,063.00 for a 6-Yard dump bed for the Plainview Street Department.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 10th day of April, 1984.
