A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PIAINVIEW,
TEX~S, AUTHORIZING WAYLAND BAPTIST UNIVERSITY TO CONNEC~
STORM DRAIN SYSTEM ORIGINATING ON THEIR CAMPUS THROUGH THE
EXISTING STORM DRAINAGE LOCATED IN AND ALONG QUINCY STREET.
WHEREAS, Wayland Baptist University is in the process of
constructing new facilities making major improvements to their campus
and educational plants; and
WHEREAS, Wayland Baptist University has requested that they be
allowed to tie a new proposed storm drain system originating on their
campus to an existing storm drainage owned by the City located in and
along Quincy Street abutting their property; and
WHEREAS, the City staff have reviewed this request and finds t_hat
there appears not to be any detrimental effect to the City's storm drain
system by allowing this connection:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that Wayland Baptist University be authorized
to connect storm drainage system originating on their campus into the
City owned storm drainage located in and along Quincy Street as it
abutts Wayland Baptist University's property.
