RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDS AND AWARDING
PURCHASE CONTRACTS FOR MATERIALS FOR STREET SEAL COATING.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 83-2524, passed on September 27, 1983,
authorized the purchase of materials for street repair and seal coating;
and
WHEREAS, invitations for bids were duly advertised and received at
10:00 A.M. on May 7, 1984; and
WHEREAS, ~mle County Smd & Gravel
submitted the lowest and best bid for sea] coat gravel at a per cubic
yard price of $12.95 for 1,500 cubic yards of Type
Aggregate with a total bid price amount of $19,425.00

WHEREAS, Diai~Dnd Shamrock of /~r~llo, Texas
submitted the lowest and best bid for liquid asphalt at a per gallon price
of $0.6942 for 48,000 gallons of AC-5

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that purchase contracts be awarded for the purchase of
seal coat gravel from ~le County S~tnd & C~ravel ,
and for the purchase of liquid asphalt from Di~mor~l Shamarock of
i~qlo, Texas
