RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW
ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID AND AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR THE REPAIR, RECONDITIONING, SANDBLASTING AND PAINTING
OF REFUSE CONTAINERS FOR THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 83-2524, passed on September 27, 1983,
authorized the maintenance of refuse collection containers; and
WHEREAS, invitations for bids were duly advertised and received at
10:00 A.M., on May 7, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Coll~nh~alVlachine and We]d~nq of pl~inv~w
submitted the lowest and best bid for the repair, reconditioning, sand-
blasting and painting of refuse containers for the City of P]ainview;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council that a
contract for the repair, reconditioning, sandblasting and painting of
refuse collection containers for the City of Plainview in accordance with
the terms and conditions set forth in the Specifications For Bids be and
is hereby awarded to Col~:~mbiaM_m~hine and Weldinq of Plainview
at the unit prices set forth in the bid therefor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 8th. day of May., 1984.
