A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF.THE CITY OF PLAIN-
VIEW, TEXAS APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF MESA
VERDE ADDITION, UNIT NO. 1, PLAINVIEW, HALE COUNTY,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, C.P. & Associates, Inc., Dallas, Texas, has submitted the
Preliminary Plat of Mesa Verde Mall to become known as Mesa Verde Addition,
Unit No. 1, Plainview, Hale County, Texas along with appropriate plat fees
and necessary information to the City Engineer of the City of Plainview;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Plainview
on June 14, 1984 approved the Preliminary Plat of Mesa Verde Addition,
Unit No. 1, Plainview, Hale coUnty, Texas (o~iginally submitted as Mesa
Verde Mall) Subject to the following stipulations:
1. The name should be changed 'to Mesa Verde Addition Unit No. 1,
Plainview, Hale County, Texas.
2. The original planned outlots should be shown and marked Lots
No. 1,2,3,4,5,6'& 7 as shown on the plan submitted for the
Specific Use Permit.
3. A 35' building setback line along HighWay 70 and along Interstate
Highway 27 should be shown.
4. A 30' building setback line along Mesa Drive should be shown.
5. A 25' building setback line along~the north edge of the plat
(13th Street) should be shown.
6. A full 75' of right-of-way must be dedicated and shown on the plat
for Mesa Drive.
7. The Permissible Mall Building Area line should be shown with metes
and bounds measurements along the edges and be tied to exterior
lot lines.
8. Utility easements should be shown with metes and bounds and be
tied to the exterior lot lines as well as all easements for out
lines also marked in the same way.
9. The West 5th designation on the plat should be deleted and shown
as Olton Road.
10., A Dedication Deed Should define what utilities will have access
to and use of the new utility easements shown on the plat.
11. SPS request for a 5'x30' guyline easement at 455' west of the
northeast corner of the plat should be shown.

12. An additional utility easement at the north end of the proposed
utility easement should be shown so that water lines may be
connected to a proposed water main in 13th Street along the north
line of the mall tract.
13. A completed set of construction plans, approved by the City,
for all storm drainage should accompany the submission of the
final plat.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said Preliminary Plat and the
recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission. and finds that said
plat revised to include the stipulations recommended by the Planning and
Zoning Commission will comply with the intent of the Subdivision Regulations
of the City of Plainview:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plain¥iew that the Preliminary Plat of Mesa Verde Addition, Unit
No. 1, Plainview, Hale County, Texas (originally submitted as Mesa Verde
Mall) be approved subject to the stipulations reconanended by the Planning
and Zoning Commission and that the Final Plat of said addition incorporate
all of said stipulations.
