RESOLUTION NO. R84-728
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS APPOINTING AN INTERIM CITY MANA~ TO SERVE UNTIL
A CITY MANAGER IS APPOINTED BY THE PLAINVIE~ CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, John Hatchel, City Manager of Plainview has tenured his
resignation to be effective at 5:00 p.m. on July 6th, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is in need to appoint an interim City
MaD~ger to coordinate municipal activities and direct the City's
operations until a City Manager is employed by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Bill Hogge, Director of Public Works is a Senior Staff
member and we as the City Council feel that he is very capable to serve
in this interim position:
NOW, THEREFORE BE it resolved by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas that Bill Hogge be appointed as interim City
Manager to give direction and guidance for the City organization until
such time that a permanent City Manager is employed. This sb~ll beccx~e
effective at 5: 00 p.m. July 6, 1984.
