A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLA/1FV-iEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE PAVING OF THE UNPAVED WEST PORTION OF
THE AT.I.RY SITUATED IN THE 2800/2900 BLOCK OF OLTON ROAD
BETWEEN OLTON ROAD AND WEST SEVENTH STREET, AT THE COST
OF THE OWNER.
%fHEREAS, J.W. Hamby, the owner of property in the 2900 block of
Olton ~oad between Olton Road and West Seventh Street in Plainview,
Texas, bas requested that he be granted permission to pave the unpaved
west portion of the alley in said block; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such paving would
i~prove the drainage of said block and provide other benefits to the
City of Plainview:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas that J.W. Hamby be and is hereby granted permission and
authorized to pave the unpaved west portion of the alley situated in the
2800/2900 block of Olton Road between Olton ~oad and West Seventh Street
subject to the following conditions:
1. That all the r~aining unpaved portion of the alley be paved;
2. That all paving plans and construction be prepared and done in
accordance with specifications and requirements of the City
Engineer of the City of Plainview;
3. That none of the costs of said improvements be borne by the
City of Plainview.
