A RESOLUTION OF TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW APPROVING THE REQUEST OF CEAYfRAL PLAINS
M~NTAL HEALTH, MERTAL RETARDATION CENTER TO PAVE
A PORTION OF WAYLAND STREET NORTH FROM WEST
FOURTEEhFfH STREET.
WHEREAS, Central Plains Mental Health, Mental Retardation Center of
Plainview, Texas, has requested permission to pave a portion of Wayland
Street from West Fourteenth North to a point 361 feet north of the alley
on the west side of said Wayland Street; and
W~gREAS, the City Council has determined that the paving of said
portion of Wayland Street will be beneficial to that area of the city and
that permissq_on should be granted for the paving of said portion of Way-
land Street; and
WHEREAS, said paved street is for the purpose of serving property
being developed and should, therefore, be paid for by the owner or owners
of the adjacent property in accordance with City policy:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED-by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that permission be and is hereby granted to Central
Plains Mental Health, Mental Retardation Center to pave Wayland Street
from West Fourteenth Street North to a point 361 feet North of the alley
on the west side of said Wayland Street subject to the following stipu-
lations:
1. That said paving be for both sides of Wayland Street
including curb and gutter and necessary drainage structures.
2. That the design, the plans, the specifications and the
construction of the paving project be performed under the
supervision of the City Engineer of the City of Plainview.
3. That the entire cost of the construction of the paving prOject
be borne by the owner or owners of the property to be served
by said paving at no cost to the City of Plainview.
