A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TRAFF}~C SIGNAL EQUIPMENT
FOR INSTALLATION AT WEST TWENTY-.FOURTH STREET AND STATE
HIGHWAY NO. 194, TO BE PAID FOR FROM BUDGETED REVENUE
SHARING FUNDS FOR THIS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, on September I~1984, the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas did approve the 1984-1985 Revenue Sharing Budget; and
WHEREAS, funds for the installation of a Traffic Signal System at
~lenty-Fourth Street and State Highway No. 194 were included in said
budget; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and evaluated by the City Council
for materials to be used in said installation; and
WHEREAS, the lowest and best bids submitted were as follows:
For Traffic Signal Poles and Mast Arms

For Solid State Traffic Signal Controller, Signal Light Heads
and Hardware

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council that:
The contract for purchase of Traffic Signal Poles and Mast Arms

The contract for purchase of a Solid State Traffic Signal
Controller, Signal Light Heads and Hardware be awarded to:
